Exclusive Barn Weddings and Events Venue at Owlpen Manor
The exclusive barn venue at Owlpen Manor plays host to private weddings, parties and events all year-round.
We have two barns next to each other, and both of them complement each other prefectly to form the perfect Cotswolds events venue.
Cyder Barn
The beautiful old Cyder Barn forms an atmospheric space for wedding and civil partnership ceremones at the heart of the Owlpen Estate. The space is licensed for up to 104 people in total.
In the evening teh barn becomes a barn and dance floor so that you can party the night away!
As the oldest licensed wedding barn in the Cotswolds, the Cyder Barn is a listed historic building dating to 1446, with massive oak ‘cruck’ trusses. A gigantic oak and elm cider press stands in the corner from 300 years ago, when cider feasts were held here.
Today it combines fifteenth-century charm with twenty-first-century convenience, and it is directly linked to the brand new pole barn, which has a capacity of 120 people seated.
It is a stunning setting, furnished with Mander family portraits and Arts and Crafts furniture from the family collection, and with a floor laid from planks of ash, the trees felled in the surrounding woodland in 2010.
The Pole Barn
The stunning pole barn was built in 2020 using massive larch trees which have been felled from the woods in the Owlpen valley.
This is a large weddings and events space which is often used for fine dining and informal parties on the estate. It connects directly to the Cyder Barn to form a large, versatile space which can be used in many different ways for your wedding, celebration, event or party.
The barn can seat up to 120 people on either round tables or long tables. You choose the plan, and we get it all ready for you in advance of your special day!
The Courtyard
Outside the barn venue we have a beautiful courtyard space where guests can gather and chat in the open air. Enjoy our fire pits, gaze out over the Owlpen valley and feast on food provided by our in-house catering team (wood-fired pizzas are a regular favourite!) or food vans of your choice. it is up to you!
