This is your day and the food that is served is an incredibly important element in making it unique and special. We are delighted to offer you an excellent choice of menus – whether it’s a simple finger buffet, a spit roast or a formal wedding breakfast.
For parties of up to 120 guests, we offer dining in our new pole barn, adjacent to the Cyder Barn. The barns are fully licensed for alcohol and entertainment, offering a superb range of selected wines and a fully-stocked bar. The Cyder Barn on its own is ideal for smaller receptions or for celebration meals building up to your big day.
Catering is provided by carefully selected preferred catering suppliers, called Well Seasoned Cotswold Catering. They specialise in sourcing local meat and vegetables from their trusted suppliers, to keep food miles to a minimum. They also have a strong background in vegan catering, having owned and managed Woodruffs Organic Cafe, Britain’s first organic Vegetarian Cafe, in Stroud for the past twenty years. For weddings of up to 48 guests, the atmospheric fifteenth century Cyder Barn offers a truly unique and intimate setting for your evening celebrations. Our menu emphasises bistro-style cooking, with seasonal produce from the estate. This includes game – pheasant and venison are specialities – and traditionally-reared Owlpen beef. We try and use as much of the produce of Owlpen’s Elizabethan kitchen garden, set just below the restaurant. Owlpen’s cellars offer a good selection of reasonably-priced wines, especially from the French and Spanish regions. However, we are very happy to source other wines you may particularly like.
