Here at Owlpen we pride ourselves on strong customer service. Always a smile, always time for a chat. Although we like to keep ourselves busy, we find it so important that no two days are the same and each person who comes through the door has different needs.
We are here for you, to make you happy and comfortable, so that you can sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Owlpen estate.
Our team is mainly divided between event coordination, housekeeping, bar staff and estate maintenance. We are a tight community here, with loads of people in the background to make sure everything is running smoothly, and we all work together to get things done.

The angel of Owlpen! When she is not responding to your emails she is out front, laughing with everyone, and enjoying each day as it comes.

An expert at weddings, Tonia is everyone’s friend and confidante. She started off running the housekeeping tem and when she moved into the office she was just as amazing at her new job, and we love having her around each day.

Not a penny gets past Mel! She has a heart of gold and pours it out into her brides and grooms to make sure they are well looked after. And on top of everything else, she can often be found behind the bar in the evenings.

Highly energetic, always a smile and loving life. Lillie is one of those rare gems for whom no job is too small. It is people like her who keep hospitality going, and her good vibes radiate out to our clients.

Simon
Farm and Estate Maintenance
Simon has been here his whole life, and there is not a corner of the Owlpen valley that that he doesn’t know blind-folded.
Simon farms his herds of sheep and cattle on the estate, helps to rund the shoot, and is always around to move heavy things, fix little things, and drive his machines.

These guys are the fairies of our holiday accommodation, rushing around the cottages each day to make sure they are kept in good order and ready for the next guests. Always smily, always happy to help!

The Mander Family
Owlpen is a genuine family business. The manor house is lived in by Sir Nicholas and Lady Karin Mander, but their family of 28 people is so big that there is usually someone else around as well!
