When guests find us online they so often get in touch and ask, are you dog-friendly? The answer is defnitiely yes! Owlpen Manor is a family business where the owners have lots of pets of their own, not to mention the animals on the farm. So we underatand that pets are very uch a part of thefamily, and so they should be there to share in any special celebration that is taking place. When it comes to weddings, we have welcomed alpacas, horses, owls, parrots, tortoises (yes, tortoises!), cats and, of course, dogs in our wedding ceremonies.
This brought to mind the beautiful pics of S and E’s 2024 wedding by Stuart Dudleston. S and E really wanted their dog included from the start, and so we worked cloesly with them to make sure that he was a part of the big day but without needing too much direct care from the bride and groom themselves.
When bringing your dog to a wedding, we recommend that you have someone on hand to look after them so that you don’t have to worry about that side of things on your wedding day. Often that person can be a guest, but we can also recommend professional dog-sitters who can be ther eall day to make sure your dog has al lof the attention they need.
