Manor Farm

Manor Farm is a cosy modern farmhouse with contemporary design features, and stunning panoramic views across the Owlpen valley with pasture and ancient woodland beyond.

The house enjoys its own garden, seating area and parking space.  It stands in a raised position just two hundred metres from the manor house, and even closer to the popular event barns at the bottom of our main tarmac drive.  Guests are welcome to enjoy miles of private walks on the Owlpen estate, without having to observe the restrictions of public footpaths.

The house is perfect for dog-lovers who want to take their furry friends for walks, come back to a house with a wooden floor throughout the ground floor area, and enjoy a blazing fire in tghe living room when the evening sets in.

Downstairs is a covered porch which leads into a wide hallway..  To the right is a galley kitchen which is fully equipped with all the necessary facilities, such as oven, electric hobs, toaster and kettle.  To the left of the hallway is a large open plan living room and dining room, with space around the table for ten guests if required.

In the fireplace is a wood-burning stove and ample logs, kindling and firelighters.  A discrete door in the hallway leads next door into Over Court, so that the two houses can be taken together by two families, or a large group of friends, if required.

Upstairs there is a large master bedroom with a Victorian four-poster bed.  The views from here surpass the aspect from the manor house itself.  Next door is a shower room with toilet and basin, and further down the corridor is a twin room, facing west towards the setting sun.

Manor Farm is an ideal home from home for families who want to come to a rural location without being in an old listed building.  It is cosy, well-designed and beautiful situated, making the perfect self-catering holiday cottage in the Cotswolds.  As mentioned above, it can be rented alongside Over Court for larger groups of people.
