Owlpen Manor Cotswold Holiday Cottages, Exclusive wedding venue, and Tudor Manor House

Woodwells

Sleeping six, Woodwells is a favourite with families and walkers (especially those with dogs). This fairy tale Cotswold stone farmhouse is approached up a long private drive which leads up the Owlpen valley.

It leads behind the church and manor house into the heart of the beech woods. Surrounded by the steep hangers, off a drive, off a lane, off a minor road, buried in the bosom of the Cotswolds, here is a hideaway that must be about as remote as you can get from the fever of the 21st century in southern England, yet with all the comforts of Owlpen’s ever-popular cottages.  Not far from Peters Nest, which sleeps two, the houses are often booked together for larger parties.

The ground floor has a living room, dining room with an open fire, and a separate fitted kitchen further down the corridor which also has a table.  There is a twin bedroom, suitable for people with mobility issues, at the back of the house with a bathroom (with shower) beyond.  Upstairs there are two double bedrooms with king-size and a family bathroom.

Outside is a garden with a large lawn overlooking the fields, a terrace with a table, chairs and barbecue, and parking for two cars.
